Sandra joined OPTrust in 2012 and leads the Illiquid Assets program, overseeing strategy, execution and performance for global private market investments across infrastructure, private equity and real estate. With over 25 years of experience in private markets, Sandra is recognized for shaping investment strategy, delivering value creation across global illiquid portfolios and leading high-performing teams. Prior to OPTrust, she spent more than a decade at a Canadian middle-market private equity firm and began her career in investment banking, specializing in mergers and acquisitions.
Sandra holds an honours business administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University and completed the general management program at Harvard Business School. She was recognized among the Women's Executive Network's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada in 2017 and 2020.
