Romain joined OPTrust in 2021 and is responsible for co-managing the liquid public markets portfolio to complete the total fund risk factor exposure and enhance the fund’s risk and return profile. Prior to joining OPTrust, he spent six years running multi-asset volatility strategies at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Romain holds an electrical and computer engineering degree from CentraleSupélec in France and a master’s degree in finance from Imperial College in the U.K. He also serves on the Board of CentraleSupélec Canada.
